San Diego Temple

This San Diego Temple wedding was perfect! We got lucky with the weather and had a perfect sunset. Resulting in the following perfect wedding photos for Gerusa & Eric’s wedding.

I have known Eric’s family for a while and even shot his older brother’s wedding. It was awesome to see some old friends.

As you can see, both of them walked out of the temple with HUGE smiles and they didn’t leave the entire day. We had perfect weather, with a few clouds and some awesome direct lighting. Which led us to get some AMAZING portraits for them all throughout La Jolla.

When I first started out as a photographer I remember a photo of Scripps Pier that was so influential to me. Ever since then I have always wanted to shoot portraits there. So when they told me they were having a San Diego Temple wedding that was the first place I knew we were going to go for the portrait session.

In true photography lucky fashion right as we finished shooting the portraits fog rolled in and it started raining – PERFECT TIMING!

Many couples as me how people can afford to do weddings on a destination with family and friends. It seems very expensive. However, there are lots of options which might surprise you that might be even cheaper than a traditional wedding. I absolutely love small intimate weddings like this and San Diego is never a bad place to visit. 🙂
