Wedding with a Vintage Style

Every year I get one or two of the most intimate awesome wedding ideas- ever. This vintage Albion Basin elopement caught my attention immediately. We headed up in the perfect time of year to the Albion Basin to photograph a beautiful intimate elopement. This one involved whiskey, pie, and chacos. So obviously, I strapped on my chacos and we drove up the canyon together. This couple was so much fun. From taking the trek to the basin, to even just posing around a mini picnic, they made everything entertaining. This level of intimacy for their elopement felt perfect for them. The images came out beautifully. I’m so grateful to photograph such creative and fun couples. Congratulations to you both!

Vintage Albion Basin Wedding Style

This vintage Albion Basin elopement had so many cool and inspired elements. Weddings can be defined so differently by so many people. We started by capturing some beautiful images in the back of a vintage bronco and they brought along a few extra details. The bride’s dress matched the scenery and the decor perfectly. The bouquet of bright reds and purples contrasted against the lush green scenery beautifully. Playing rock, paper, scissors (to decide who had to say their vows first), to even exchanging vows captured beautiful, intimate, and candid moments these two will cherish for years to come. The natural light and scenery helped these photos come out amazing.

Their elopement was a dream for a photographer. It truly has been one of my favorites so far. To me, it doesn’t matter the venue, the number of guests, or the budget you have for your celebration. What truly matters to me is the moments you spend together and the time you have to express that love. These two are the perfect example of a perfect definition of a wedding — and elopement.
